L'oreal make up haul: saving with a £5 Diet Coke discount and 3 for 2

All this for £20!
I have one heck of a beauty bargain for you: if you buy a 500ml bottle of Diet Coke in Boots before 26 May, you get £5 off L’Oreal Paris Color Riche L’Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick, making it just £3.99!

I went on a mini beauty binge the other day and managed to save £12.99 thanks to Diet Coke and an in-store 3 for 2 offer on L'Oreal, so *of course* to justify it on my bank balance, I thought I would share it with you here...

Color Riche L’Extraordinaire liquid lipstick, £8.99

The case on this lippie makes it look like it would come out some god awful plasticky pink. Inside, however lies a soft, shimmery tint. If you feel like you're getting a little bit old for lipgloss (gulp), or want something with a bit of slick for work, then I can highly recommend the Color Riche L'Extrodinaire range.

I chose the 600 shade, nude vibrato, which is just the right amount of peach tint for my colouring without going over the top.

Smokissime super liner, £7.99

I'm sure you have seen the Smokissime advert with that woman swishing about in a black flowing dress and, if you're anything like me, you've been totally taken in by it too.

I didn't read a thing about this liner before I bought it, but now I have it I'm so glad I do. It's basically a smokey eye for lazy girls. I can't be bothered with the fuss of making my eyeshadow pristinely smudged half the time but this pen does such a great job in one swipe I don't know how I ever lived without it. It's so good I'm going back to get the brown version.

Lumi Magique concealer (shade 2, medium), £8.49

This is a staple in my make up bag: as an illuminating moisturiser it's great for under eyes and perking up any dark patches without getting too heavy. It lasts for ages too.

Color Riche Lipstick (600), £6.99

The final choice in my 3 for 2 was this berry tint lippy. Once again it looks like the colour would be quite dense, with a lot of sparkle, but on it's actually quite sheer. I love wearing berry shades for work, they perk up my skin tone without making my natural look too heavy.

In total I spent £17.48 on the 3 for 2 products, £1.37 on the Diet Coke and £3.99 on the liquid lipstick - which should have come to £22.84 in total but it didn't, it was even cheaper.

By some weird quirk of the tills, the liquid lipstick was included as one of my 3 for 2, at full price, and the £5 discount was taken off later on, making my 3 for 2 total come to £12.48 - £20.84 overall! Not bad for four high quality products and a glass of coke.
