Friday 13th is Christmas jumper day!

Save the Children's designer Christmas jumper installation at Westfield
It's official: Christmas jumpers are in. No more will they be relegated to boxing day turkey curry buffets, dodgy festive knits are the thing to don for 2013.

They're so big, in fact, that this year Save the Children are holding a Christmas jumper day on Friday 13 December.
All you need to do is put on your finest crimbo sweat and donate £1 or more to the cause. More information on how you can persuade everyone to take part in this super fun way of raising a little money for charity, along with fundraising packs, can be found on the Save the Children website.

Designers doing their bit

On Thursday 28th November, Save the Children ambassador Erin O’Connor launched a designer Christmas jumper installation at The Village, Westfield.
Top British designers including Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry and Mary Katrantzou, Sibling all customised a fabulously festive one-off jumper for the event - all of which are on display until the end of the year at The Village. But that's not all: each jumper is up for auction too! You can bid on the jumpers from now until 30 December by simply paying £1.50 and texting the name of the designer and their minimum bid to 78484. This is an auction with a twist because the lowest unique bid wins, ensuring all festive fashion fans are in with a chance of winning a stunning one-off designer jumper.
