Nailed it: Paul and Joe nail varnish review

Soft and dreamy: Fairie Queen nail enamel by Paul & Joe
I love Paul & Joe - sadly their gorgeous designs are way out of my price range. However, their beauty offerings just so happen to be within my budget.

I picked up this nail enamel on a whim in the ASOS sale. I probably definitely don't need another nail varnish, but you know me, I can't turn down a bargain.
I'm going to be completely honest though and tell you I wasn't expecting much. I've got a Chanel nail varnish which I waited on for months, then paid a pretty extortionate rate for - and it's terrible. It  doesn't give full coverage, chips easily and needs about three coats to look halfway decent. I guess you could say my view of fashion house's nail paints is pretty jaded. But I'm very pleased with Paul & Joe.

This sparkly offering is part of their Midsummer Night's Dream collection, inspired by the bard's tale of the same name. The whole range is pretty, sparkly and light - just what you need to bring a bit of summer dreaming to dreary February. It goes on well, dries easily and has just the right amount of chunky glitter.

This shade, Fairie Queen, is now sold out on ASOS but you can still get Sprite and Pixie for just £5.
