I'm having a last minute summer fling with my workwear wardrobe before September hits and we all forget what sunshine looks like.

Heritage has to be the easiest trend to work this autumn (and yes, I think we can safely say after this weekend's weather, autumn is here).
A good tweed jacket is the must-have piece to work the look and, luckily for us, the lovely ladies and gents at H&M have knocked one together for just £19.99.

|Plaited shopper, £79.99, Zara|
If you haven't laid eyes on this plaited shopper from Zara yet then all I can say is where have you been? This It bag has been flying around for about a year now and has been seen on the elbow of everyone from Olivia Palermo to my hairdresser.
But, as tempting as this arm candy may be, it has a seriously off-putting price tag (£80 and upwards). Even the mini version was still pretty steep but, as always, I've managed to find a bargain alternative for those of us seeking to save a few pennies.

Well it looks like Money Saving Expert have been taking some beauty tips from Chic & Cheerful lately. Last week I was raving about Revlon nail varnish in the pound shop and now they've only gone and found Stila products in Poundland.

It's probably end of the line or last season's stuff (Poundland aren't official stockists of Stila after all) but, as I found out with the Revlon nail varnish, that's not necessarily a bad thing. As long as it hasn't been opened and has been stored in normal conditions, you're good to go!

In support of the absolutely amazing men and women competing as part of Team GB in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, I'm going to be picking up this little number today:
Having won nine of our medals in cycling (seven gold, one silver and one bronze), it seems only right to support the UK's amazing feat the best way I know how - through fashion. I'm already planning on teaming this tee with a paper bag skirt and some fairly sporty high tops.
Go Team GB!

My mum's like a magpie when it comes to accessories. Anything sparkly and it's straight in her jewellery box. Although I don't normally go for big and bold, I think the family gene must have kicked into gear when I walked into Zara the other day.

These fanastic necklaces are part of Zara's new season accessories collection. Despite how small they look in the picture, they are humongous in real life. This is proper statement jewellery, eye-catching beyond belief.
And the best thing about these new jewels? The price - they're all under £30!

So I know it's been a while since my last post but, hey, what can I say? The sun was shining so I toddled off to get a vitamin D fix.
Anyway, in amongst all the wonderful outdoor activities some of us Brits got to enjoy last week, I did a spot of shopping (surprise, surprise...) in poundworld (*actual* surprise!).
I needed to get my bill up to the £5 minimum credit card limit (side bar: seriously poundworld/land/universe is the best place to buy cotton wool and toothbrushes) so decided to have a nosy at the beauty aisle - and found a pale pinky mocha nail varnish with a touch of gold shimmer by...drum roll please...Revlon!
Revlon Endless Possibilities
I was still a complete sceptic until I actually tried the paint and I have to say I'm so pleased with it. It's actual Revlon - not Rovlen, Ravlon or any other rubbish knock off name - it's real REVLON! It's not all thick and gloopy in the bottle, the brush isn't mangled and it was all sealed up so I'm pretty sure nobody's used it before. Fantastic.
